During long duration tank cleaning projects, it may be necessary to control a tank after it has reached regulatory degassing requirements. These reasons could be a consent decree, odor, fence line monitoring or other stipulation.
Our engineered solution involves employing a thermal unit for the initial degassing phase of tank cleaning and, if beneficial, transitioning to a scrubber system for the project's remainder. This combined method can provide a more robust approach and target specific HAPs and VOCs.
