Vapor Point is especially honored whenever we join with industry partners to serve our communities. One of the most special projects of the year is our co-sponsorship of Total Safety’s Helping HEROES Charity Golf Tournament. The 2017 tournament will be held on Tuesday, May 23, at the Lakewood Golf Club and the English Turn Golf & Country Club in New Orleans, Louisiana. To mark the 20th Anniversary of their “Helping Heroes” tournament, Total Safety set the ambitious goal of raising $200,000, money that will be used to improve the lives of “everyday heroes”: children, families, and servicemen and servicewomen. If this goal is achieved, the organization’s 20-year cumulative donation total will surpass one million dollars—what an accomplishment! Last year’s 2016 Helping HEROES Charity Golf Tournament raised over $180,000, which went directly to three deserving charities: Sky High for St. Jude, Combat Marine Outdoors, and Krysta’s Karing Angels. The amount raised exceeded Total Safety’s goal of $175,000, and exceeded the 2015 total by $70,000.
