THE RESULTS ARE IN! Marathon Petroleum had ambitious goals for their first ever United Way Fishing Tournament and Seafood Cookoff. Marathon hoped for 50 inshore and offshore teams, but were blown away when 98 teams signed up to raise $120,000 for United Way Galveston Mainland. The tournament will be held in Port Aransas, Texas, at the Palmilla Beach Golf Club, recently named by Golfweek as one of Texas’s top ten courses. The fundraiser benefits HALO-Flight, Inc., a non-profit helicopter emergency service covering South Texas.
